My wife is pregnant for 3 weeks and have had a couple of episodes of constipation instantaneous appearance of a cold sweat , dizziness and painful defecation . Is this normal?

You should see your gynecologist for evaluation. Most likely need a stool softener . Dizziness and night sweats are not normal. Yes you can give constipation during pregnancy but not the other symptoms .
