Jaw pain . Since about a week ago I have a slight pain in the jaw, around the lower jaw and towards the back where my ears are joined at the head . I have also had occasional mild pain in the neck, also around the neck.

    I feel that is not good. The jaw pain can be difficult to detect because it may hurt his jaw in response to localized problems or processes occurring in other parts of the body. Examples of possible local problems include dental or gum disease and temporomandibular syndrome (see link below). Ailments that can cause pain in your jaw include heart or lung disease, arthritis of the neck and sinusitis. Depending on your age and risk factors (smoking, high blood pressure, illicit drug use, etc.). Could require further investigation to identify the cause of discomfort in your jaw. If you have not seen your dentist lately, you should start there. An x-ray of your teeth and your jaw might reveal the problem, return to your doctor to discuss your concerns.
