I have had diarrhea for a year without having normal bowel movements throughout the year . Until a week and a half ago , that was the only problem , but I am now experiencing frequent stomach aches, headaches and dizziness . Born with a defective heart.

There are a number of conditions that can cause chronic diarrhea, including irritable bowel syndrome , intestinal infections (eg Giardia , parasites, etc. . ) , Celiac disease , metabolic disorders (eg diabetes ) , impaired lactose and inflammatory bowel disease ( Crohn 's disease or ulcerative colitis ) . Medical evaluation is warranted in this case, including an examination of the feces and (possibly) an upper and lower endoscopy. If you have not yet gone to her doctor for diarrhea , it is time to do so. Good Luck!
