It is very rare that headaches are caused by a brain tumor, especially when they come and go and are not associated with any signs or neurological symptoms ( visual changes , weakness , balance problems , difficulty speaking , seizures , etc . ) . Having said this, any headache of recent onset or significant change in the established pattern of a headache , warrants medical evaluation. You can see that this issue is causing much distress . Unfortunately, there 's no solution that diagnostic neuroimaging (eg A MRI of the brain) so you can have complete peace of mind . Therefore, what you should do is go to your doctor to ask you a medical examination. This may convince you that you do not have a brain tumor, or simply schedule a MRI. I hope it all goes well .
