What are the symptoms of West Nile virus? I have a fever , burning eyes , stiff right neck , pain and weakness in the arms and legs , and I have a bad headache . I have no medical background . I am a 30 year old woman .

Most people experience no symptoms in the eastern Nile virus. Mild symptoms usually occur in approximately 20% of persons: including fever, eye pain, generalized body aches, headache, extreme tiredness and possibly swollen lymph glands or a rash. About 1% of people with serious diseases can include neurological problems. Possible symptoms include: seizures, severe headache with stiff neck, high fever, confusion and weakness. I recommend that you see your doctor for an evaluation.
