    The most likely cause for these symptoms is an acute viral gastroenteritis. Acute gastroenteritis is a self-limited disease that typically resolves in a few days. Staying hydrated with water or drinks rich in electrolytes, unsweetened fruit juices. Foodborne (That is to say, food poisoning) transmitted present with similar symptoms, and usually the course is of a similar length. If your symptoms persist, they could pose a serious underlying intestinal disorder such as inflammatory bowel disease (Crohn's disease), and a medical evaluation is warranted.
