I have chest pains , should I be worried? The last two or three days I have been experiencing a slight pain in the right region of my ribs, chest, back and shoulder. The pain comes and goes and is usually more annoying than a sharp pain. What could this be?

Without more information and a review is not possible to determine what is causing your pain. For what it's worth comment , mild chest pain that comes and goes is usually not a sign of any serious underlying disorder. The inflammation of the chest wall due to costochondritis , muscular exertion , or subcapsular bursitis are common causes of such discomfort described . Now, if you are a smoker , a diabetic , or someone who has had previous thoracic surgery, a medical evaluation is warranted in case of persistent or recurrent pain chest, even a mild chest pain in such individuals could mean something serious or even a serious health problem. Also, if your pain gets worse , if it appears that worsens with exertion, or if you develop any other symptoms (cough , fever , shortness of breath , night sweats, etc. . ) , Contact your doctor immediately.
